About The Position

The Maintenance Operator performs inspections, testing, record keeping, general and preventative maintenance, and maintenance of production equipment. The role reviews production schedules to help ensure equipment is operational and maintains an assigned warehouse area in accordance with operating procedures. The operator may oversee contractor activity as directed and is expected to recommend improvements and provide solutions to problems. The role calls for the ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; apply practical mathematical concepts; and bring knowledge of welding, electrical work, piping, and general construction. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, along with more than one year of work experience.

Requirements

More than one year of work experience.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions in practical situations.
Knowledge of welding, electrical work, piping, and general construction.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) preferred.

Responsibilities
