About The Position
The Maintenance Operator I supports the day-to-day maintenance of the golf course. This role is crucial for ensuring the golf course remains in excellent condition for players.
Requirements
- Understanding of the game of golf and importance of course conditions
- Appropriate state pesticide applicators license
- Previous golf course or landscape maintenance experience
Responsibilities
- Maintain the greens, including mowing, plugging, verticutting, sodding, and ball mark repairs.
- Change cups, pin locations, and tee placements; repair divots.
- Check and maintain good condition of cups, flags, and tee markers.
- Check ball washers, empty trash, and remove course debris.
- Communicate effectively with all team members and guests.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or as needed by the club.
