About The Position
Performing duties to maintain functional facilities, equipment, and grounds. Providing a variety of support functions associated with AFI infrastructure, facilities maintenance, print operations, mail distribution and processing. Assisting in the support of AFI infrastructure and IT network to include desktop computer users. Provides AFI employees with timely resolutions for hardware and software problems (willing to train on IT network).
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED (Maintenance Operations Tech I)
- Two years of experience as a maintenance operator, operations tech, mailroom/print operator role or equivalent position (Maintenance Operations Tech II)
- Ability to maintain a valid, unrestricted, and REAL ID-compliant driver’s license (Maintenance Operations Tech I)
- Successful completion of basic electrical course (Maintenance Operations Tech II)
Nice To Haves
- Good written and verbal communications skills
- Working knowledge of MS Outlook, Excel and Word
- Ability to perform basic math functions to include calculation of percentages and ratios
- Demonstrates attention to detail
- Demonstrates sound judgment and decision-making skills
- Ability to accomplish work according to established priorities and procedures
