About The Position
The Maintenance Oiler oils, greases, and cleans mechanical equipment and machines. The role services production equipment according to manufacturer specifications, charts, schedules, and oral or written instructions. It also involves identifying and reporting signs of equipment malfunction and maintaining lubrication records.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Ability to read instructions.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to lift 25 pounds.
- Willingness to work any shift.

- Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial facility.
- Previous experience working with production equipment and machines.
Responsibilities
- Oil, grease, replenish coolant in, and clean production equipment and machines according to specifications, schedules, charts, and instructions.
- Replace broken or missing fittings and cups, and replace oil filter elements.
- Remove and clean oil lines; mix coolants and cutting oils as directed.
- Remove packing lubricants from new equipment and replenish with operating lubricants as required.
- Maintain lubricating equipment.
- Recognize and report improper equipment functioning, including unusual noise and overheating bearings, to appropriate personnel.
- Use refractometers to check water-soluble coolant condition and add water or coolant as needed.
- Maintain lubricating records and charts.
