About The Position

AECOM's Southeast Transportation business line partners with clients to build, modernize, and expand transportation projects. They utilize extensive knowledge in planning, designing, and managing transportation systems, as well as restoring and replacing aging infrastructure, to help public and private clients find smarter, more advanced ways to move people. Their integrated approach and social responsibility have earned them the trust of local municipalities, government agencies, commercial clients, and public-private partnerships. This role involves working on alternative delivery projects, including mega-projects, and is for all levels of Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) Engineers and Designers.

Requirements

MOT CAD Designers: BS Degree or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience
Junior Level Engineers: BS in Engineering + 2 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience
Mid-Level Engineers: BS in Engineering + 6 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience
Senior Level Engineers / Task Leads: BS in Engineering + 10 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience
Experience with Bentley Microstation and Open Roads
Experience in all aspects of MOT design, including, but not limited to: Cross Sections, Typical Cross Sections, Traffic Control Plans, Profiles, Temporary Signing and Pavement Markings, Detour Routes

Nice To Haves

EIT Certification or PE License
Master’s degree in engineering

Responsibilities

Work on alternative delivery projects, including mega-projects.
Design/Build or Alternative Delivery project experience.
Develop design packages for highway improvement projects.
Design MOT plans, including Cross Sections, Typical Cross Sections, Traffic Control Plans, Profiles, Temporary Signing and Pavement Markings, and Detour Routes.
