About The Position

The Maintenance Multicraft Technician I is responsible for performing preventive maintenance activities, emergency/breakdown maintenance, and various repairs and installations to support plant operations. This role requires strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, accurate record-keeping, and the ability to work effectively in a team. The technician will also be responsible for maintaining a clean work area and utilizing a computer system for maintenance processes.

Requirements

At least two years of successful mechanical and electrical/electronic troubleshooting and repair experience in a manufacturing facility.
Strong knowledgeable of lubrication, hydraulics, welding, pneumatics, electrical and electronics technologies.
Excellent teamwork, cooperation and problem solving skills.
Willingness to fully cross train in other technical areas to enhance capabilities.
Able to work with computer system for maintenance processes, stores and work orders.

Nice To Haves

Manufacturing experience in the corrugated industry.
Maintenance experience in corrugated a plus.

Responsibilities

Following all safety rules and practices
Performing preventive maintenance activities such as lubricating, measuring wear, measuring positions, repositioning components; and observing operations, vibrations, and noise levels.
Performing emergency / break down maintenance as necessary to support plant operations.
Accurately using measurement and test equipment.
Performing electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, steam system, and other repairs and installations as needed.
Maintaining clean and organized work areas, and cleaning up work areas as part of completing assigned tasks.
Accurately and completely prepare and maintain maintenance records and other paperwork.
Trouble-shooting and solving problems.
Excellent teamwork, cooperation and problem solving skills.
Willingness to fully cross train in other technical areas to enhance capabilities.
Able to work with computer system for maintenance processes, stores and work orders.
Performing other duties as assigned by supervision.
