About The Position

China Jushi USA is seeking qualified candidates for their Maintenance and Utilities department in their Columbia, South Carolina manufacturing facility. As an hourly maintenance team member, you will need to work in a fast paced, high-speed environment, following standardized work, and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment. The Maintenance Multicraft Technician is responsible for the safety, quality, cost and efficiency of his or her Team. The Maintenance Technician will have an in-depth knowledge of the Mechanical, Hydraulic, and Electrical Maintenance procedures. The Maintenance Multicraft Technician will be expected to be part of a team on his or her shift within the facility; including all equipment in the operational areas like the Batch, Melting, Sizing, Bushing, Packaging, and Fiber Forming/Fabrication areas and the equipment in the Maintenance areas including Compressed Air, Natural Gas, Process Water, and Fire Systems.

Requirements

• 2 to 5 years Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance experience.
• In-depth knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical maintenance procedures.
• Knowledge and Understanding of Health & Safety regulations.
• Must have a very thorough understanding of mechanical processes all over the plant.
• Must be able to effectively PM all mechanical equipment in the plant.
• Must have a great understanding of the furnace system, and the batching process.
• Must be able to trouble shoot and maintain and fabricate all plumbing systems in the facility.
• Must be able to weld with Tig, Mig and Stick welders.

Nice To Haves

• 2 to 5 years of Manufacturing Maintenance Experience.
• HVAC troubleshooting and repair experience
