Requirements

5 years of Industrial Electrical Maintenance experience.
High School Diploma is required and higher education in a technical field is a plus
Experience with electrical and mechanical installation and maintenance work on plant electrical systems and equipment
Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics
Broad knowledge of controls and mechanisms
Proficient in PLC programming and troubleshooting
Must have excellent problem solving
Self-directed with the ability to work alone and in a team environment

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, install, align, dismantle, repair, and maintain industrial machinery and equipment to improve reliability and uptime, including pumps, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, utility support systems (compressors, dryers, cooling towers), gearboxes, bearings, PLCs, and drives.
Adjust PLC programming and troubleshoot using Allen Bradley Studio 5000.
Diagnose and repair 24V/120V control circuits, 480V 3‑phase systems, 4–20mA/0–10V circuits, VFDs, and DC drives up to 1600 HP; general understanding of plant SCADA systems.
Monitor and troubleshoot systems using DMM, amp/mA meters, meggers, and oscilloscopes.
Read, interpret, and work from electrical prints and mechanical/electrical drawings.
Perform equipment modernizations, upgrades, and modifications according to specifications.
Identify and resolve intermittent mechanical and electrical failures on production equipment.
Demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of how mechanical and electrical systems operate.
Support Engineering and Maintenance teams on innovation initiatives, including Lean Six Sigma, 5S, 3P, 8D, Kaizen, and SMED activities.
Work any shift as needed, including evenings, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
Collaborate independently with contractors and vendors to complete projects and repairs.
