About The Position

CMI is seeking a Maintenance Millwright for its New Castle, Pennsylvania site. The role performs troubleshooting and maintenance to repair, adjust, adapt, redesign, and install plant and yard equipment, machinery, and infrastructure, supporting a safe and productive work environment. Work takes place outdoors in recycling yards and indoors in the maintenance shop. The position is full-time, non-exempt, with a shift of either 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM or 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM. Pay is determined based on experience.

Requirements

• At least three years of Millwright or Maintenance Mechanic experience.
• Experience with welding.
• Experience diagnosing mechanical and electrical problems and expediting repairs.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Own tools.

Nice To Haves

• Millwright certification is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned preventive maintenance on equipment and machines throughout the plant and yards in conjunction with daily production requirements.
• Repair breakdowns of equipment, machinery, and infrastructure.
• Maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Fabricate parts and other equipment according to instructions or blueprints.
• Install and commission new machinery.
• Perform weld repairs on equipment.
