We are adding a Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. Requirements

  • A minimum of 3-years of experience in manufacturing performing maintenance and electrical repairs on equipment.
  • The ability to read and speak in proficient English, as demonstrated by a High School Diploma, GED, or relevant field experience which involves reading equipment manuals and technical schematics.
  • The ability to troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment, including engines, motors (480V 3 phase), pneumatic tools, pumps, HVAC equipment and production machines.
  • An understanding of basic hydraulics, electrical, welding and HVAC equipment.
  • An interest in learning how to use and maintain new equipment.
  • Must be willing to continue education through: Schooling (courses chosen by supervision/management) Seminars Training sessions

  • General Welding skills desired or willingness to attain and a customer centric mindset to develop excellent relationships with shift mechanics and production operators.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative mechanical maintenance on machinery and equipment as well as emergency repairs
  • Follow plant safety and environmental guidelines while completing daily tasks to ensure both you and your colleagues are kept safe.
  • Utilize measuring and testing instruments to locate sources of problems, remove defective parts and adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments.
  • Troubleshoot PLC, VFD, AC/DC equipment as well as testing various voltages (e.g. 480V 3-phase, low-voltage & 4-20mA signals).
  • Maintain pneumatic and hydraulic systems, control valves, centrifugal and positive displacement pumps.
  • General Welding skills desired or willingness to attain and a customer centric mindset to develop excellent relationships with shift mechanics and production operators.
  • Must be proficient in two of following skills: refrigeration and air conditioning, pipe fitting and mechanical, and general welding.
