About The Position

This customer-service-focused position is responsible for maintaining buildings and equipment essential to operations in a clinic or hospital setting. The mechanic may assist with or perform a variety of repair work and general and mechanical maintenance, including HVAC, electrical, refrigeration, plumbing, painting, carpentry, and groundskeeping. The position is onsite at Froedtert Menomonee Falls Hospital in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. It is a first-shift role with 80 standard hours and weekend work every seven weeks; holidays are included.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license required for first- and second-shift staff.

Nice To Haves

• At least two years of building maintenance or plant operations experience.
• Mechanic certification or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain buildings and equipment essential to clinic or hospital operations.
• Assist with or perform repair work and general and mechanical maintenance.
• Perform maintenance work that may involve HVAC, electrical, refrigeration, plumbing, painting, carpentry, and groundskeeping.
