Requirements

Trained technician in electrical, mechanical either or both.
At least 3 years of working experience in the trained area, or the successful completion of a technical program in industrial maintenance.
Experience in industrial manufacturing is preferred.
Must have good communication skills.
Ability to work as a team and individually to complete projects.
Ability to work nights with the possibility of day shift openings as they become available.

Nice To Haves

Ability to read blueprints and/or wiring diagrams is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

General knowledge and experience in troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic equipment and boiler systems.
Ability to read blueprints and/or wiring diagrams is helpful but not required.
Knowledge in machine shop operations and the use of machine shop tools and equipment.
Experience in Mig/Stick welding and fabrication.
Preventative maintenance in equipment reliability to minimize operational downtime.
Knowledge in OSHA safety programs such as LO/TO, arc flash, confined space entry, proper PPE, machine safety and plant wide safety awareness.
Emergency response to mechanical and electrical failures, water line breaks, chemical spills and fire out-breaks.
Will be required to work in hot and cold environment.
May at times be exposed to weather elements.
May at times be exposed to working in wet conditions.
