About The Position

This is a Mechanic Position for contract and common carrier with a logistics / trucking company location in Newell, WV. Reports to Shop Foreman. Duties and Responsibilities include: Maintaining tractors and trailers; Performing inspections on equipment; Keeping shop areas safe and clean; Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED
• Good communication skills
• Preference of 1 year of experience in maintenance and repair
• Air brake certified
• Must have own tools

Nice To Haves

• Tank experience
• CDL with HAZMAT & Tank Endorsements
• Knowledge of newer diesel and emission treatment systems
