About The Position

The Maintenance Mechanic plays a critical role in ensuring the continuous and efficient operation of manufacturing equipment and machinery. This position involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems to minimize downtime and maximize productivity. The Maintenance Mechanic will work closely with production teams to identify potential issues before they escalate, ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards. This role requires a proactive approach to equipment upkeep, including performing routine inspections and preventive maintenance. Ultimately, the Maintenance Mechanic contributes to the overall success of the manufacturing process by maintaining reliable and safe operational conditions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in maintenance and repair of hydraulic and pneumatic systems within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in mechanical systems maintenance.
• Ability to safely climb ladders and work at heights.
• Knowledge of three-phase electrical systems and their application in industrial machinery.
• Willingness and ability to work overtime and flexible hours as required.

Nice To Haves

• Technical certification or vocational training in industrial maintenance or a related field.
• Familiarity with safety standards such as OSHA regulations.
• Previous experience working in a manufacturing facility with complex machinery.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and emergency maintenance on hydraulic and pneumatic systems to ensure optimal functionality.
• Diagnose mechanical failures and implement effective repairs on various manufacturing equipment.
• Climb ladders and access elevated areas safely to inspect and service machinery components.
• Work with three-phase electrical systems to troubleshoot and repair electrical issues related to mechanical equipment.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to schedule maintenance activities with minimal disruption to operations.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory requirements while performing all maintenance tasks.
• Be available to work overtime or extended shifts as needed to support production demands and emergency repairs.
