Maintenance Mechanic $45.38/hr
About The Position
We have 2 openings for Industrial Maintenance Mechanic on the 6pm-6am shift and rotating 4 on/4 off schedule. All new hires initially start on the Monday-Friday day shift to participate in New Hire Training. Following this training period, mechanics are assigned to their regular work schedule. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will troubleshoot, repair and perform preventative maintenance (PM) on plant equipment and machinery. This position uses hand tools, welding equipment, pneumatic and/or electric tools and precision measuring tools to make repairs or replace equipment. Equipment repairs/replacements include but are not limited to pumps, fans, gearboxes, piping, fabrication, conveyors, and large rotating equipment. All offers are contingent upon subsequent pre-employment testing that includes background check, drug screen, and clinic physical.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Heavy industrial experience in welding/fabrication
- Heavy industrial experience in hydraulics
- Heavy industrial experience in pneumatics
- Heavy industrial experience in blueprint OR schematic reading
- Heavy industrial experience in predictive maintenance (PdM) and preventative maintenance (PM)
- Heavy industrial experience with pumps
- Heavy industrial experience with mechanical drives
- Heavy industrial experience with material handling equipment
- Passing of all pre-employment testing which includes: Mechanical efficiency test, Criminal background check, Employment and academic verifications, Drug screen & physical
- Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, to perform essential job duties such as reading safety instructions, understanding work directions, and completing required documentation.
Responsibilities
