About The Position
Performs general maintenance and repair of building mechanical systems and equipment common to a healthcare facility. Carries out scheduled maintenance tasks and repairs as part of a coordinated PM program. This role involves responding to equipment and system issues, performing repairs and preventive maintenance, record keeping, and responding to emergencies. Snow removal is also a responsibility of the maintenance department.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED required.
- 0-1 years related work experience required.
- Basic familiarity with computers.
- Ability to navigate at a basic level within web-based applications.

- Basic plumbing knowledge and experience.
Responsibilities
- Provides first response to equipment and system issues including plumbing, bulb replacement, and leak response.
- Provides first response to electrical and HVAC system issues while working off-shift.
- Performs repairs and preventive maintenance on mechanical equipment common to healthcare facility maintenance.
- Performs record keeping requirements and written reports as part of a daily routine.
- Responds to emergencies such as floods and power outages during off hours when requested.
- Participates in snow removal processes.
