About The Position

This position's responsibilities include troubleshooting, providing diagnoses, and performing routine and corrective maintenance on shop equipment in order to support production lines and shop effort.

Requirements

• Formal education, high school or equivalent required
• 2-year Technical Degree in Maintenance field or vocational certificate/training
• Mechanical skills
• Welding and cutting skills
• Decision making and reasoning
• Planning and scheduling

Nice To Haves

• Ability to speak, understand, and read English proficiently

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair production equipment, including but not limited to: welders and grinders
• Repairs broken parts using hand tools and welding equipment properly in compliance with Company’s safety policies and procedures
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals to diagnose problems
• Complete work orders as assigned
• Complete installation of new equipment and provide other areas of improvement in line with facility’s maintenance plans
• Maintains a clean work environment
• All other duties as assigned by supervisor
