About The Position

Performs preventative and corrective maintenance on facility infrastructure and industrial equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous operations. This role requires a proactive approach to safety, adherence to established procedures, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision. The position involves working with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, as well as operating various types of industrial equipment.

Requirements

Ability to use basic electrical and mechanical industrial maintenance tools.
Ability to operate mobile equipment, including aerial equipment, and work from heights.
Ability to operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and other material handling equipment.

High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

Inspects, troubleshoots, and repairs mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to minimize downtime and ensure safe operation.
Installs and modifies equipment and performs preventative and general maintenance including electrical conduit systems and wiring infrastructure.
Accurately reads equipment manuals and drawings to make equipment repairs and adjustments.
Manages parts and supply requisitions and completes documentation in computerized maintenance management system.
Demonstrates strong time management, effective communication, and the ability to work independently.
Operates mobile equipment, including aerial equipment, and works from heights.
Operates forklifts, overhead cranes, and other material handling equipment to safely and efficiently transport materials as required.
Works independently or as a team with minimum supervision.
Responsible for creating a collaborative, safe and hazard free environment that is driven by employee involvement.
Leads departmental continuous improvement projects.
Supports and executes all safety and health policies and programs.
Conducts employee training and incident investigations.
