Scheduled Weekly Hours: 0 Perform overall maintenance, service and repair work on Clinic plumbing, electrical, heating, air conditioning and refrigeration facilities and equipment; assume independent responsibility for the overall maintenance of assigned Clinic facilities during off hours, weekends, and holidays when "taking call".

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalency
• 3-4 years of building maintenance and repair experience.
• Valid Driver's License (DL)

• 1 year Healthcare building maintenance and repair experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct periodic inspections of designated buildings and equipment; when necessary, repair and perform preventive maintenance on general building facilities and electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, and equipment.
• Respond to Clinic emergency maintenance calls after normal hours and on weekends and holidays; perform necessary repair work, which may include temporary repairs sufficient to secure the systems and facilities until permanent repairs feasible; notify appropriate personnel if further action is required.
• Respond immediately to fire alarm systems; disengage electrical, water, or gas systems to protect building occupants and property.
• Perform or assist with major and minor repairs of electrical, plumbing, heating, HVAC, and refrigeration equipment as needed.
• Advise management of general condition of facilities and equipment and any unusual problems or concerns that may arise; make recommendations for facilities improvements or upgrades.
• Maintain appropriate documentation of maintenance and repair records to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and codes.
• Carries a Medical Examiner's Certificate at all times while driving a commercial motor vehicle.
• Adheres to regular and predictable attendance.
• Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
