About The Position

As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities through effective maintenance and repair tasks. Reporting to the Facilities Manager, you will utilize your mechanical knowledge and skills in schematics to troubleshoot and resolve issues. Your expertise in programmable logic controllers and electrical systems will enhance our operational efficiency. Additionally, your supervisory experience and leadership skills will contribute to a collaborative work environment, while your familiarity with CMMS will streamline maintenance processes. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to verbally communicate effectively.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
  • Ability to apply basic concepts of algebra, geometry and trigonometry.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions provided in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to read, interpret and create blue prints.
  • Ability to read and interpret router instructions and specifications.
  • Properly use and operate tools and machining equipment.
  • Mechanical knowledge and skills in schematics.
  • Expertise in programmable logic controllers and electrical systems.
  • Familiarity with CMMS.
  • Ability to commute to Garden Grove, CA 92841.
  • Ability to relocate to Garden Grove, CA 92841 before starting work.

Responsibilities

  • Repairing equipment to specifications on work orders.
  • Building or rebuilding of production equipment.
  • Conducting preventative maintenance on boilers and compressors.
  • Moving machinery (rig and move) as requested.
  • Complying with OSHA regulations.
  • Complying with all environmental safe practices and regulations, including possessing thorough knowledge of all Material Safety Data (MSD), oil and chemical labeling and storage requirements.
  • Adhere to all AIC company policies.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Maintain an organized, clean and safe work area using safety standards and expectations while adhering to all quality practices.
