This role is based in Pryor, OK, and is an onsite position. The Maintenance Mechanic will be part of a collaborative, safety-focused, high-performing team, contributing to the safe and efficient operation of critical processes.

Requirements

  • Experience performing industrial mechanical maintenance and repair activities on rotating and stationary equipment.
  • Working knowledge of pumps, compressors, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, valves, bearings, and piping systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret equipment specifications, technical manuals, and maintenance procedures.
  • Experience using hand tools, precision measuring instruments, welding equipment, and mechanical shop machinery.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in an industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to safely perform rigging, lifting, and equipment installation activities.
  • Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and basic computer applications.
  • Commitment to safety, including lockout/tagout practices and use of personal protective equipment.
  • Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role, including lifting up to 50 pounds and working at heights.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in chemical, manufacturing, industrial processing, or related production environments.
  • Experience with laser alignment, precision measurement, and predictive maintenance techniques.
  • Certification or formal training in welding, millwright, pipefitting, or a related mechanical trade.

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and installation of pumps, compressors, valves, motors, piping, turbines, and other mechanical equipment.
  • Diagnose equipment issues using technical documentation, specifications, and manufacturer literature to restore safe and efficient operation.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance activities including lubrication, filter replacement, gasket installation, and mechanical seal repair.
  • Align rotating equipment using precision instruments such as dial indicators and laser alignment tools.
  • Perform welding, cutting, fabrication, rigging, and metalworking activities to support maintenance and improvement projects.
  • Execute lockout/tagout procedures and verify equipment is safely isolated prior to maintenance work.
  • Utilize computerized maintenance systems to document work, order materials, and review equipment history.
  • Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and engineers to ensure work is completed safely and effectively.
  • Support a culture of safety while mentoring and guiding less-experienced maintenance personnel.
