About The Position

The Maintenance Mechanic role at the Hanover location is responsible for performing duties to repair and maintain machinery, equipment, building and facilities requiring a broad knowledge of maintenance skills. Our maintenance mechanics are viewed as an active supporter of lean and preventative maintenance systems. You’ll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to: Install, repair, rebuild, adjust and maintain machinery and equipment used in production which may also involve the dismantling, inspection, machining or replacement of purchased parts. Perform various activities relative to the installation and relocation of existing machines and equipment. Perform basic maintenance and repairs on conveyors, packaging equipment, production equipment, electrical controls systems and other related plant systems. Provides routine inspections and monitoring of all production equipment. Performs troubleshooting on equipment and facilities as needed to determine the root cause of problem and perform proper repair. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience following instructions/process documents and providing effective communication, both verbal and written
• Experience in a manufacturing environment – food manufacturing a plus
• Proven electrical experience with the ability to diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical systems and equipment.
