About The Position

The Maintenance Mechanic troubleshoots equipment problems and performs immediate repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will perform equipment change-overs, production line set ups and record repairs, maintenance, parts, materials used, and rebuild and fabricate parts. The Maintenance Mechanic utilizes work orders for the requisition of new parts and materials as needed through a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Maintenance Mechanics will also perform maintenance inclusive of the Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS) if a manufacturing plant and distribution center have such a system. Ensure the safety needs are given a top priority in operations support and work execution. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/General Education Diploma
  • 0 to 2 years of related experience

Nice To Haves

  • Electrical Certification or Vocational Certification
