This role is for a Maintenance Mechanic responsible for keeping corrugator machinery and conveyors running smoothly. The position involves troubleshooting high-speed machinery, fixing mechanical parts, and repairing industrial electrical systems. The mechanic will also design, program, and troubleshoot PLC-based automation systems for manufacturing equipment, develop and modify control logic using PLC platforms such as Allen-Bradley, Siemens, and Mitsubishi, and integrate HMI, SCADA, VFDs, servo drives, and industrial networks into machine control systems. Responsibilities include performing machine commissioning, startup, testing, and validation, reading and interpreting electrical schematics, P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings, configuring and maintaining industrial communication protocols including Ethernet/IP, Modbus, Profibus, and ProfNet, diagnosing and resolving electrical, control, and automation issues to minimize production downtime, implementing Safety systems, machine guarding, and ensuring compliance with applicable industry standards and regulations. The role also requires collaboration with engineering, maintenance, and production teams to optimize equipment efficiency and reliability, and providing technical documentation, operator training, and ongoing support for automated manufacturing systems.
