Job Summary Support and maintain a variety of advanced production equipment, including 5-axis CNC machines, centriguges, polishing machines, and other precision systems. This roles includes preventative and corrective maintenance.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical schooling preferred
  • 1+ years of industral equipment maintenance experience
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work within a team
  • Willingness to work 1st shift with occasional flexibility

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with 5-axis CNC maintenance including high-speed spindle systems
  • Knowledge of Heidenhain controls or similar CNC platforms
  • Strong diagnostic ability in multi-axis systems
  • Familiarity with CAM-related machining workflows
  • SAP experience
  • Computer proficiency for documentation and machine parameter management
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical documentation

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on 5-axis CNC machinery and other production equipment
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and software issues
  • Support troubleshooting of advanced CNC systems including spindle assemblies, rotary axes, drives, sensors, and motors
  • Conduction routine maintenance
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs and work order documentation (SAP)
  • Assist with machine installation, alignment, calibration, upgrades, and improvements as needed
  • Coordinate with planner and team lead to maximize downtime and stabilize throughput
  • Follow all GKN Aerospace safety, regulatory, and environmental procedures
  • All other job duties as assigned
