Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3-5 years Maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Available to work weekends, holidays and overtime as required
  • Commitment to safety and quality
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Stick welding proficiency
  • Competent in troubleshooting, repair and operation of mechanical systems
  • Basic understanding of preventative maintenance practices and schedules
  • Capable of safely performing maintenance work using hand and power tools
  • Basic understanding of plant electrical systems, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, pumps, bearings, and mechanical drives
  • Able to replace electric motors, switches and wires as required
  • General knowledge of facilities maintenance
  • Welding and fabrication experience, stick welding required
  • Ability to operate fork lift to unload parts and conduct maintenance work
  • Capable of lifting 50 pounds
  • Prolonged standing
  • Extended regular hours
  • Capable of kneeling, stooping, bending and crawling around machinery to perform work up to 7 hours per day
  • Capable of verbal communication with supervisor and technicians
  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S., without current or future requirement for sponsorship of an employment-based visa status.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshooting, repair and operation of mechanical systems
  • Performing preventative maintenance practices and schedules
  • Performing maintenance work using hand and power tools
  • Maintaining plant electrical systems, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, pumps, bearings, and mechanical drives
  • Replacing electric motors, switches and wires
  • General facilities maintenance
  • Welding and fabrication, including stick welding
  • Operating a forklift to unload parts and conduct maintenance work
