Maintenance Mechanic
About The Position
This role is responsible for repairing and maintaining various fixtures, furniture, appliances, machinery, and mechanical equipment according to manufacturer specifications. The position involves performing tasks related to plumbing, electricity, and carpentry, as well as installing new equipment. The mechanic will also be responsible for routine maintenance, inventory management, and requisitioning parts. Communication with management regarding activities, needs, and problems is essential, and participation in Care Facility and Department seminars and safety training is required.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year experience as Mechanic in a related field.
- General mechanics knowledge in carpentry, masonry, plumbing, electrical repair, refrigeration and HVAC required.
- FDNY Certificate of Fitness.

- Vocational School training with courses in Blueprint reading.
Responsibilities
