About The Position

The Maintenance Mechanic 2nd shift role at our Hannibal, MO location is a challenging opportunity for an individual interested in providing skilled general maintenance and troubleshooting on production equipment and automated machinery. The Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for duties related to electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical tasks. 2nd shift hours are Monday- Thursday from 2:30pm-1:00 am

Requirements

• High voltage electrical knowledge
• Forklift or scissor lift experience
• Ability to work independently

Nice To Haves

• Two-year degree or Technical Certificate or related experience (3-5 years)

Responsibilities

• Electrical troubleshooting, including PLCs and process controls and repair and installation of motor controls, fuses and circuit breakers, etc.
• Trouble shoot, repair and install simple machinery using air, hydraulics, motors, bearings, etc.
• Fabricate production equipment, fixtures, support frames, benches, shelving, etc.
• Schedule and perform preventative maintenance, write procedures and train others.
• Repair and installation of pipes and plumbing that carry gas, water, air or misc. hydraulic oils.
• Repair and installation of electrical wiring in facility for high & low voltage (includes computer & phone lines).
• Repair and improve facility buildings and grounds.
