We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to install, maintain, and repair machinery and mechanical equipment. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring all devices operate properly and efficiently to support our business objectives. Your primary duties will include performing preventive maintenance, diagnosing technical issues, and executing repairs. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, a deep understanding of mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics, and the physical stamina required for a hands-on maintenance position.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Maintenance Mechanic or in a similar role
  • Strong understanding of pneumatics, hydraulics, and general mechanics
  • Proficiency in using various power and hand tools for maintenance and repair
  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Proven experience with patch and paint work
  • Physical ability to stand for long hours and lift heavy loads

Nice To Haves

  • A valid driver’s license
  • Technical certifications in a related mechanical field
  • Experience in a role that required reporting on project progress

Responsibilities

  • Conduct preventive maintenance on a variety of mechanical devices to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime
  • Detect malfunctions through observation and run diagnostic tests to identify the root cause of issues
  • Repair broken or faulty machine parts and perform emergency repairs as needed
  • Align, calibrate, and install new machines or replacement parts, selecting appropriate materials for each task
  • Perform general facility maintenance duties, including patch and paint work
  • Follow all safety rules and regulations to maintain a safe and clean work environment at all times
  • Monitor and report on the progress of ongoing maintenance projects and repairs
