About The Position

Tel Hai, a nonprofit retirement community in Honey Brook, PA, is a Certified 'Great Place to Work' and offers a vibrant, caring community with a long-standing reputation of providing exemplary service and care to its Residents. The community is currently hiring for a full-time Maintenance Mechanic to join its Facility Services team on the evening shift (3-11:30pm) Tuesday - Saturday. Requirements

General knowledge of electrical equipment, lighting, power distribution, ventilation, and air conditioning.
Valid PA Driver’s License with at least 2 years driving experience required.
Trade or technical school (or equivalent experience) required.
Must have the ability to work productively with minimum or no supervision.

Responsibilities

Performs hands-on work for indoor and outdoor building maintenance including electrical, HVAC, major equipment, life safety systems, and emergency systems under the direction of the Director.
Also performs and completes wheelchair and medical equipment repairs.
Performs preventive, routine, and emergency maintenance repairs as directed.
Performs snow removal and ice prevention tasks as directed.
Moves residents and community-owned furniture and stores in a neat and orderly fashion to prevent damage as required.
Responds to emergency calls when requested.
Performs security rounds of the entire campus.
Set-ups for special events and assists with trash removal as requested.
