About The Position

Join Ice Cream Specialties as a Maintenance Mechanic and become a valuable member of the team responsible for maintaining the machines, facilities, and other necessary equipment used to produce ice cream novelties. This role offers a challenging yet rewarding career with great benefits and pay. The position is for the 2nd shift, working Monday through Friday from 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM, with some mandatory overtime on Saturdays. Requirements

• Mechanical background
• Maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Welding-Tig/Stick
• Read blueprints (electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic)
• Plumbing skills (water, air and hydraulic)
• Ammonia Refrigeration knowledge
• Time management: ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
• Strong team player
• Communication skills: ability to communicate with a multitude of plant personnel as well as maintenance personnel
• The ability to work at heights up to 25’ a ladder or man lift
• The ability to work weekends is necessary

Nice To Haves

• Wastewater Treatment experience

Responsibilities

• Setting up machines for various products
• Trouble-shooting hydraulics, electrical and pneumatics
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment
• Repair, rebuild and welding
• Lubrication, hand truck repair
• Building repair and maintenance
• Other duties assigned by supervisor
