About The Position

Gladding McBean in Lincoln, CA is a manufacturer of vitrified clay pipe for sewers, clay roof tile, piazza clay floor tile, glazed terra cotta pottery, architectural terra cotta, sacked mortar clay, chimney tops and caps. Requirements

Troubleshooting and diagnosing problems using blueprints, common hand tools, and electronic test devices.
Repairing and maintaining production equipment including hydraulic machines, electrical machines, mechanical equipment, and hydraulic and electric freight elevators.
Repairing building and grounds equipment and machinery, including plumbing, electrical, sprinkler systems, and air conditioning and heating equipment.
Maintaining and repairing specialized equipment and machinery.
Fabricating machine parts as necessary.
Obtaining necessary supplies from distributor or storeroom.
Performing routine preventive maintenance such as inspecting belts, checking fluid levels and filters.
Abiding by all safety rules and ensuring hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.
Attending safety meetings.
Predictable and regular attendance.
