Requirements

Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting with exposure to automated equipment.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Knowledge of safety regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.

Nice To Haves

2-year technical degree or 5 years’ experience in heavy industrial manufacturing
2-year technical degree and at least 3-year experience in heavy industrial manufacturing

Responsibilities

Advanced level technician.
Performs assignments of a general nature requiring use and application of standard maintenance methods and tools.
Read and understand technical manuals
Advanced understanding of diagrams, drawings.
Advanced understanding of mechanical equipment and tools
Advanced understanding of equipment alignment
Advanced understanding of measuring devices like rulers, calipers, and micrometers
Advanced understanding of assembly and disassembly of mechanical components under supervision
Safe use of power tools including drills, grinders, etc.
Understanding of different fasteners and their proper applications
Advanced understanding of rigging and hoisting practices and equipment used
Ability to identify and apply appropriate lubricants to mechanical systems
Accountable for performing work in a safe and environmentally responsible manner and in accordance with established procedures as required due to being a Responsible Care facility
