About The Position

Maintenance Mechanic Full-time Kent, WA Exclusive confidential search — details shared with qualified applicants. Become a Key Player as a Maintenance Mechanic You will keep production equipment running reliably by performing installation, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on manufacturing machinery. You will directly support production teams and work onsite on the 2nd shift (2:30 PM – 11:00 PM, Monday–Friday) in the US/Eastern time zone.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2–4 years of mechanic experience
  • Forklift certification and proficiency moving large equipment
  • Completion of a formal training or apprenticeship in mechanical, facilities, electrical, electronic, pneumatic, or hydraulic systems, or equivalent experience
  • General knowledge of codes and regulations related to equipment and facilities
  • Knowledge of shop math and precision measuring equipment
  • Ability to perform physical work including climbing, lifting up to 50 pounds, balancing, and handling materials

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in aerospace mechanics
  • Experience with vacuum furnaces, CNC, PLCs, and X-Ray equipment

Responsibilities

  • Install, repair, and maintain production and manufacturing equipment
  • Inspect equipment and perform preventive maintenance per manufacturer specifications
  • Diagnose equipment malfunctions and make timely repairs or adjustments
  • Follow written instructions, sketches, and technical documents
  • Use hand and power tools to perform maintenance tasks
  • Perform work according to established safety procedures and standards
  • Operate under direct oversight and support production goals
  • Assist with ad hoc duties that support organizational objectives
