About The Position

Vacuum maintenance is responsible for the maintenance, repair and technical support of production related equipment systems.

Requirements

  • Associates degree or equivalent years of experience in maintenance/electronic
  • Good mechanical and electrical aptitude, strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, particularly required by a diverse and extensive amount of high vacuum pump and vacuum control systems within the facility.
  • Knowledgeable of a wide array of industrial technologies including: Electronics, mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, vacuum technology, control systems.
  • Able to read and interpret schematics, drawings and technical manuals

Responsibilities

  • Installation, maintenance and troubleshooting skills for production and facilities equipment.
  • Proficiency with a variety of tools such as DVMs, RGAs and leak detection.
  • Perform complete electrical and mechanical preventative maintenance services ranging from low voltage DC systems to AC voltages from 120 up to 480 volts.
  • Complete inspections and logs as required.
  • Proper handling of compressed gas cylinders, material handling equipment per EHS requirements.
  • Perform inventory of equipment spare parts.
  • Experience using various hand and power tools, multi-meter, leak detectors, electronic or computerized test systems etc.
  • Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Installation, maintenance and repair of low, medium and high vacuum systems, mostly located in clean room areas of the facility.
