Requirements

Seven (7) to ten (10) years of experience in industrial equipment maintenance.
Experience with pneumatic & hydraulics.
Experience with power tools, hand tools, gas and diesel engines, forklift, heavy trucks, and trailers.
Must be eligible to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship offered).

Responsibilities

Maintains production and quality by ensuring operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting malfunctions, and locating sources of problems.
Removes defective parts by dismantling devices using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools, and examines parts for form and texture.
Determines dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.
Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges.
Controls downtime by informing production workers of preventive maintenance techniques and monitoring compliance.
Fabricates repair parts using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.
Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock, anticipating needs, placing orders, and verifying receipt.
Conserves maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies efficiently.
Provides mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests.
Prepares mechanical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
Maintains technical knowledge by attending workshops, reviewing publications, and networking.
Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and needs.
Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
