About The Position
As a Maintenance Mechanic, you create safe and welcoming environments for our patients, visitors and employees. You will perform general maintenance and repairs of the hospital’s facilities and mechanical, plumbing, electrical and pneumatic equipment. In this role, you will monitor and inspect work to ensure code and regulation compliance. On Call hours may be on an as needed basis. The above summary is intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed in this role. I t should not be considered exhaustive.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent or t rade school diploma or degree from technical school
- Must have working knowledge of electricity, fire safety codes, refrigeration, and air conditioning codes
- 1-2 years previous experience in similar positions in an institutional setting

- Licensed/Certified in one or more trades or disciplines
