About The Position

Morgan Advanced Materials, Performance Carbon business in St Marys, PA is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic on 2nd shift (2:00pm - 10:00pm). The ideal candidate will possess working knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical repair. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
4+ years maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience in troubleshooting and reading mechanical schematics
Understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems and ability and knowledge of gauges and measurements.
Possesses hydraulic & pneumatic repair experience
Ability to communicate with production operators and other maintenance technicians to be able to explain mechanical processes and root causes
Strong focus on safety and quality
Citizen of the United States, or Permanent resident alien of the United States, or Protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) as defined by 22CFR120.15

Nice To Haves

Machining, welding, fabrication and millwright experience is a plus

Responsibilities

Properly troubleshoot, adjust and repair all production and material-handling equipment
Perform all tasks and duties necessary for efficient start-ups, daily operation, change-over and shut-downs
Perform preventative maintenance on and/or repair production machines, heating, cooling and steam systems, material-handling equipment, as well as plumbing, and hydraulic/pneumatics equipment
Troubleshoot and repair various mechanical systems
Properly record preventative maintenance tasks
Complete work orders as required
Timely respond to maintenance calls on the production floor
Assist in providing installation of new machinery
Inventory spare parts and report usage; suggest re-order to maintenance lead
Maintain neat and orderly work area, properly maintain tools
