About The Position
This position's responsibilities include troubleshooting, providing diagnoses, and performing routine and corrective maintenance on shop equipment in order to support production lines and shop effort.
Requirements
- Formal education, high school or equivalent required
- 2-year Technical Degree in Maintenance field or vocational certificate/training
- Knowledge: mechanical skills
- Skills: welding and cutting
- Mental factors: Decision making and reasoning, planning and scheduling
Nice To Haves
- Ability to speak, understand, and read English proficiently
Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair production equipment, including but not limited to: welders and grinders
- Repairs broken parts using hand tools and welding equipment properly in compliance with Company’s safety policies and procedures
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals to diagnose problems
- Complete work orders as assigned
- Complete installation of new equipment and provide other areas of improvement in line with facility’s maintenance plans
- Maintains a clean work environment
- All other duties as assigned by supervisor
