About The Position

Performance Foodservice is seeking a Night Maintenance Mechanic to ensure the safety and efficiency of warehouse equipment. This role involves maintaining and repairing facilities, forklifts, and pallet jacks to meet industry standards. The ideal candidate will perform general electrical and mechanical repairs, conduct periodic inspections, and maintain necessary equipment. The position operates on a night shift from Sunday to Thursday, 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM.

Requirements

High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
6+ months maintenance and repair or related area
Mechanical experience with Electric Pallet Jacks and Forklifts or related area
Pass post offer drug test and criminal background

Nice To Haves

High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
1+ years maintenance and repair or related area
Certifications: OSHA Forklift operator certificate; HVAC certification; ammonia

Responsibilities

Obtains work schedule and daily production paperwork and prepare for operations. Performs daily safety checks.
Performs maintenance, repairs, and installations on various equipment within guidelines of processes and standards.
Maintains, replaces, builds, adjusts, and modifies the facilities, buildings, and the grounds according to a set schedule and in emergency and non-emergency situations.
Performs general housekeeping duties and keep maintenance area orderly and clean as required. At the end of the shift secure all equipment and complete all necessary reports and paperwork.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
