About The Position

Mozaic Senior Life is seeking a dependable, skilled, hands-on Maintenance Mechanic to join its Facilities team. The role maintains buildings, equipment, grounds, and mechanical systems to help provide a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained environment for residents, visitors, and staff. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, can troubleshoot independently, adapts to changing priorities, and works effectively with a team.

The position is scheduled Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM, for 37.5 hours per week. It reports to the Facilities Supervisor and Director of Facility Services.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of buildings, equipment, systems, and grounds to identify maintenance needs and potential safety concerns.
• Perform preventative maintenance to help keep equipment and facilities operating safely and efficiently.
• Complete general repairs and maintenance involving buildings, equipment, machinery, fixtures, and other facility systems.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and maintenance issues and determine appropriate repairs.
• Respond to maintenance work orders and complete assigned work safely, efficiently, and within established timeframes.
• Repair machines, equipment, structures, and other facility components as needed.
• Assist with emergency situations, including fire and life-safety procedures, facility emergencies, and on-call services.
• Assist with snow and ice removal during winter weather, including operating snowplows, spreaders, and other snow-removal equipment.
