As a Maintenance Mechanic Mechanic, you will troubleshoot, repair and preform preventative maintenance on plant equipment and machinery. This position uses hand tools, electric tools, and precision measuring tools to make repairs or replace equipment.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within a food manufacturing or similar industry.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency in electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Flexibility to work occasional weekends or off-hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of machinery and equipment to identify and address potential issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.
• Coordinate with production and other departments to prioritize maintenance needs and address equipment failures promptly.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies related to maintenance activities.
