About The Position

The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for constructing, maintaining, and testing mechanical equipment, machinery, and components. This role involves identifying parts or machines needing replacement, utilizing shop mathematics, and interpreting drawings to properly adjust, maintain, or repair machinery. The mechanic will respond to production area requests for mechanical issues, communicate with production management and personnel to diagnose problems, and perform preventive maintenance. Tasks must be completed with accuracy and efficiency regarding time and resources.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1-2 years industrial maintenance experience
  • Knowledge of industrial manufacturing equipment
  • General mathematic ability required to perform job
  • Ability to read and interpret documents and drawings
  • Basic knowledge of standard and metric measures
  • Must be able to work assigned days/shifts (including some weekends)

  • Technical school preferred

Responsibilities
