About The Position

What you will be doing: Responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of machinery used to produce commercial electrical products. Prove competency in operation and repair of production equipment as assigned, including but not limited to automated production lines, clampers, tappers, screwdrivers, and power press. Effectively troubleshoot production line and other equipment. Productively maintain equipment and perform required day-to-day tasks focusing on safe use and operation of maintenance tools. Assist in loading coils onto automated lines and performing welder, production line, and equipment changeovers. Conduct daily press and equipment preventative maintenance and lubrication, including power press inspections and safety. Perform basic electrical tasks and ensure electrical safety. Perform hot work permit tasks (including welding, cutting, and brazing). Practice and promote a safe working environment, including fire safety, fall protection, fall restraint, lifting systems safety, crane operations, and powered industrial lift truck operations. Ensure machine safeguarding and lock-out/tag-out authorization. Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of 3 years of manufacturing maintenance experience.
  • Knowledge and experience working with hand tools.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, with a basic understanding of electrical systems.
  • Must be willing to work on any shift, including weekends.
  • Must be willing to work overtime, including weekends.
  • Team player, willingness, and ability to learn and progress in the trade.
