As our Maintenance Mechanic you are responsible for both the maintenance and operation of filling and packaging equipment. This role involves repairing or replacing defective equipment parts, performing routine preventive maintenance to ensure machines run smoothly and building systems operate efficiently, and inspecting drives, motors, and belts, checking fluid levels, replacing filters, or performing other maintenance actions following checklists. You will use a variety of tools, from common hand and power tools to precision measuring instruments and electrical/electronic testing devices. Responsibilities include assembling, installing, or repairing wiring, piping, machinery, and equipment, as well as cleaning and lubricating parts of machinery. You will diagnose mechanical problems, determine solutions using repair manuals and parts catalogs, and inspect, operate, and test machinery to diagnose malfunctions. Additionally, you will record the type and cost of maintenance or repair work.
