About The Position

Rich’s, a family-owned food company, is seeking an Industrial Maintenance & Automation Technician with strong mechanical and electrical control troubleshooting skills to join their team in Missouri City, Texas. This role is crucial for the company's TPM journey and the efficient operation of manufacturing equipment, contributing to site productivity. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with control circuits, temperature controllers, Allen Bradley PLCs, Power Flex drives, screw pumps, hydraulic systems, and centrifugal pumps.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical degree such as Industrial Maintenance Technician with some automation background or equivalent degree, certification or experience.
• Strong understanding & troubleshooting of mechanical & electrical systems.
• Familiarity with computer programs such as CMMS and/or SAP experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food industry.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance (PM) on all plant equipment, including mechanics and electrical control circuits, temperature controllers, Allen Bradley PLCs, Power Flex drives, screw pumps, hydraulic systems, and centrifugal pumps.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure continuous production.
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment and systems.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory using the SAP PM CMMS system.
• Embrace and help to always sustain a positive safety culture. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
• Work closely with other maintenance team members and production staff to address equipment issues and improve operational efficiency.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on maintenance initiatives and processes.
