DC (Oelwein) Maintenance Mechanic 2L Shift
About The Position
This position is responsible for performing preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on electric trucks throughout the complex. The role also involves miscellaneous repairs, some welding, reading schematics, and the installation, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repair of equipment including machinery, lighting, and receptacles. The employee must maintain regular attendance, be able to work mandatory overtime, and perform other duties as requested by Management. Additionally, the role requires producing a high-quality product and adhering to proper hygiene, housekeeping, and safety practices. These tasks are considered essential elements of the job.
Requirements
- Literate, able to read and begin to understand manuals, blue prints, etc.
- Must have basic knowledge of hand tools.
- Maintenance experience required.
- Basic electrical skills and willing to learn additional electrical skills.
Responsibilities
- Performing preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on electric trucks throughout the complex.
- Performing miscellaneous repairs and some welding repairs to trucks.
- Reading various schematics.
- Installation, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance and repair of equipment (machinery, lighting, receptacles, etc.).
- Maintains regular attendance.
- Ability to work mandatory over time.
- Performs other duties as requested by Management.
- Responsible for producing a high quality product.
- Responsible for proper hygiene, housekeeping, and safety practices.
