About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining various types of mail processing and envelope production equipment. Your primary goal will be to minimize production downtime by responding quickly to breakdowns and performing both preventative maintenance and equipment rebuilds. You will work with mechanical, electrical, and PLC-controlled systems and collaborate with production teams to enhance equipment reliability.

Requirements

• 4+ years maintenance experience in manufacturing, printing, or mail fulfillment
• Hands-on experience with Kirk-Rudy and Kodak print stations or similar mail production equipment
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills (bearings, gearboxes, pneumatics, etc.)
• Ability to read blueprints/schematics

Nice To Haves

• PLC experience
• Experience with inserting, tabbing, or inkjet addressing systems
• Familiarity with Pitney Bowes, Bell and Howell, or similar equipment
• Background in direct mail or envelope production environments
• Willingness to work flexible shifts and overtime

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain Kirk-Rudy mailing equipment (tabbers, inkjet systems, feeders, conveyors)
• Maintain and repair envelope production and mail processing equipment
• Respond to breakdowns quickly to minimize production downtime
• Perform preventative maintenance and equipment rebuilds
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and PLC-controlled systems
• Work with production teams to improve equipment reliability
