About The Position

Responsible for the preventive maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting of laundry and valet laundry equipment as well as associated mechanical and electrical support infrastructure. This includes the good upkeep, repair and maintenance of all laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, feeders, ironers, and any other equipment or machinery in the laundry areas. The role also requires basic pneumatic, plumbing, electrical, and steam system knowledge. The position involves maintaining an adequate inventory and supporting the ordering of spare parts to ensure sufficient on-site stock for normal operations. Additionally, the role requires maintaining health and safety in the work area, ensuring the cleanliness of equipment (including interiors), and assisting the Engineering Department in other trade areas if needed. Public holidays, weekends, or evening work may be required.

Requirements

2 years’ experience in a similar role
WHMIS & OHSA
Excellent customer service
Communicate fluently in the English language
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.

Nice To Haves

Industrial Mechanical or manufacturers training certification is an asset
Mfgr (e.g. Braun) laundry equipment training certificate is an asset

Responsibilities
