Maintenance Mechanic/Millwright
About The Position
Sheffield Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic/Millwright to perform a variety of maintenance duties including carpentry, painting, basic equipment and facility repairs, and simple electrical work. The role involves adjusting, maintaining, repairing, and making parts for general plant and production machinery. Duties entail knowledge of electro-mechanical applications, motors, engines, pumps, vacuum and pneumatic systems, heating, ventilation, piping & plumbing, carpentry, and electrical circuitry. The position also includes maintaining the upkeep of the grounds and facility, working in various areas as needed, and ensuring the cleanliness and appearance of the work area. The role requires adherence to all safety regulations and compliance with S.O.P.'s, DEP, EPA, OSHA, FDA, and cGMP's, as well as all Environmental and OSHA requirements, and attending in-house training sessions.
Requirements
- High school Diploma or equivalent.
- High mechanical comprehension.
- Knowledge of electro-mechanical applications, motors, engines, pumps, vacuum and pneumatic systems, heating, ventilation, piping & plumbing, carpentry, and electrical circuitry.
Nice To Haves
- Previous welding and/or machining experience is a plus.
